If you’ve seen any American Idol auditions you’ve probably seen some pretty talented singers turned away (or perhaps scared away) with the advice that they have that talent harnessed by a professional vocal coach, or because their fear of being turned away kept them from releasing that talent. While you won’t find a genuine Singorama review that claims the course will enable you to perform a song without inspiring a trademark Simon Cowell scowl, it’s pretty clear that the 28-audio-lesson-driven Singorama multimedia program is designed to equip you with the tools and training you need to sing any song in any situation, and at a professional level.
Singorama Review – Principles and Practice
The Singorama approach to taking you from a singing hopeful to qualified and confident vocalist and performer at any level, as stated in the first lesson, is a simple one that everyone reading this Singorama review should know before considering getting the course:
1. To give you the keys to unlock your unique singing talent fully, while pinpointing the weaknesses in your voice or performance that are keeping it from opening up to you.
2. To give you a daily, doable plan for deciding where you want that talent to take you and moving in that direction as quickly as possible.
To accomplish this Singorama, spearheaded by vocal coach Emily Mander, delivers a cross-section of training types that you wouldn’t get paying a visit to even the most expensive vocal coach. The first type, and the part of the training that the relatively inexpensive training program was designed for you to spend the most time with, is audio training. When you enter the Singorama members area you’ll find a link to 28 streamable and downloadable audios, each 10-20 minutes long, which serve as your stepping stones to singing success. (Note: I refer to the downloadable version of Singorama throughout this Singorama review because that’s what I got, but it’s also now available in a shipped version that includes CDs and a physical workbook.)
Singorama seems to been built on the idea that it’s not practice but perfect practice that makes perfect. The presenter of the course, a woman who I found annoyingly rehearsed and a little overly dramatic at times, advises you to take the lessons (every day or three) and do the exercises (daily for the first 30 days) they contain consistently, especially in the beginning. Once you’ve gone through all the Singorama lessons, you are encouraged to pick and choose the exercises and lessons that most apply to the aspects of your singing or performance that you need to improve on.
If you’re reading this Singorama review because you don’t have the time or motivation to drive to regular lessons, you’ll be happy to know that the Singorama exercises, which you are encouraged to do for just 15 minutes a day, is available for you to stream or download individually in the Singorama members area.
Singorama Review – Becoming a “Singer’s Singer”
Probably the greatest way in which Singorama differentiates itself from the traditional vocal improvement book or audio course, and a key point to consider in this Singorama review, is that it isn’t just a vocal improvement course – it’s a singing course. Although it does include a 154 page illustrated workbook, which is like a Cole’s Notes version with quizzes and crosswords, and the two ebooks that were extent of what the original Singorama version consisted of, and mix theoretical learning with the singing of three uninspired but decent original songs, the exercises in Singorama constantly force you to come to terms with where your voice is and what you have to to take it to the brave new high notes and expansive range you dream of.
And, since, as I mentioned earlier in this Singorama review, the course is designed to maximize your individual singing talent, you are taught not only the techniques for singing a song soundly and impactfully but how to adapt it to fit your strengths and preferred genre. As you probably know, it’s the singer on American idol that best interprets a classic song in a fresh new way without losing the essence of the original, who’s least likely to be run over by the aforementioned American Idol judges big mouth.
To help you become a singer’s singer, someone who truly understands the language and science of their craft, Singorama includes an unadvertised 97 page ebook (all ebooks are downloadable as PDFs) entitled How to Read Music: The Ultimate Guide and a very basic software program called Perfect Pitch Pro that is a game designed to increase your innate ability to recognize pitch by ear.
Also installed on your computer when you install Perfect Pitch pro is the Singorama Mini Recording Studio, which serves the essential purpose of allowing you to record and easily access recordings of your singing. Hearing yourself as you hear yourself can be the difference between growing or stunting the growth of your singing and this program will save you a lot of time if you’ve been doing this with a tape recorder.
Singorama Review – Putting Your Talent to The Test
Probably the most powerful aspect of Singorama that was overlooked in every Singorama review I read before I got the course and decided to publish this fact-based Singorama review site, is the final section of the course. In it, you get a pretty basic but thorough plan for deciding how you want to showcase the ability you develop by using Singorama and how to do it, even if you have the fear of failure or rejection that that dream stealing British TV pundit I mentioned earlier inspires.
If you want to be recognized for your singing prowess it’s important to recognize that no matter how impressive it may be, its ability to impress is a function of your ability to successfully share it with the world. While it may be a little long-winded, uninspired and potentially daunting for the new singer at times, Singorama, which is offered with an 8-week money back guarantee, appears to be a pattern for singing success that’s based on proven principles.
Use it consistently for long enough and you shouldn’t have any problem finding the confidence and desire to take your shot at leaving Mr. Cowell in an all too rare state of speechlessness.
To your realizing your singing dreams,
